Board Elections 2020

Announcing Leavenworth Soccer Association (LSA) 2020 Board Elections

The mission of the all-volunteer Leavenworth Soccer Association (LSA) is to promote, coordinate, and administer the game of soccer within Leavenworth Kansas and the surrounding communities with an emphasis on developing skills and the love of the game. Each year we hold typically elections for half of the positions on the Board of Directors. This year, due to a number of board resignations, we are electing ALL positions, less 1 Member at Large.

We are entering into the election cycle for 2020 and are looking for volunteers who will help carry us into the future during these exciting and challenging times! In this upcoming year, we have important decisions to make and challenges to meet, including a response to the Covid-19 challenge, signing a new Memorandum of Agreement with Leavenworth City for on-going operations, and growing our support programs for youths and adults in our community.

We need individual’s willing to serve a 1 or 2-year terms for 7 of the board positions.

We invite people willing to run for these Board positions to submit their names and a paragraph biography no later than Friday, March 28, 2020. Please submit your nominations by Friday, March 29, 2020, to the LSA Members at Large, Ken Long, at longke@yahoo.com. He will reply with an email to acknowledge receipt.
