The Leavenworth Soccer Association (LSA) has existed for over 10 years and is the largest soccer association in Leavenworth County. The LSA was formed to promote, coordinate, and administer the game of soccer within Leavenworth and is affiliated with the Kansas Youth Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer.
Members of the LSA are composed of working professionals in the Leavenworth community. All board members dedicate their time to manage and run the various programs LSA offers. LSA offers the following programs:
Recreational Fall and Spring leagues (from 4 years old through Adult) organized into two 8-week seasons each year (April and August), |
Competitive year-round boys and girls leagues (organized under the Leavenworth United Soccer Club), |
Sponsorship of MLS events such as Dribble, Pass and Score and KC Wizards |
Host for summer camp programs such as Challenger British Soccer. |
Board members meet on a monthly basis or as needed to manage the various programs.
The positive impact of soccer in our community is reflected through the approximately 25 teams and 400+ players that play soccer each season.
